Really lovely restaurant, we went upstairs and it had a nice seating area including cushions and mats if you want to sit and eat the traditional way. I ordered the namak mandi lamb karahi which was so delicious, we ordered the butter chicken and naan for my child and it was nice and mild and also tried Badenjan Buranee for the first time which was the loveliest aubergine dish. The service was great, the manager was really good at answering any questions we had about the menu. The food really does focus on flavour and not just spice so that was something we really enjoyed. The only downside I would say is that it is cash only but there is an ATM not too far. We will definitely be returning!

Was recommended afghan food by one of my close friends but wasn't too sure on where to visit, but boy am i glad i found this place. I was pleasantly surprised by my recent dining experience! The service was just out of this world, and the Afghan cuisine? Absolutely divine. Every dish was bursting with flavor, truly a culinary adventure. This restaurant has definitely earned a spot on my favorites list!

I recently dined at Karwan Restaurant’s new Stoke-on-Trent branch and loved it! The ambiance is warm with traditional carpeted seating, ideal for family gatherings. The food is outstanding—my favourites were the Mantu (minced lamb dumplings) and Kabuli Pulao (Afghan rice with lamb shank). The quality and flavour of the dishes are superb. The staff is friendly and attentive, enhancing the overall dining experience. Whether for a casual meal or a special occasion, Karwan is a fantastic choice. Highly recommend!

Karwan restaurant have very attractive places for seating point of view and food is also very delicious and good quality I think this one is the best place for every family and friends also I just recommended this beautiful place for party and dinner as well

Amazing service, Not only was my food on time but it was also so fresh to the point where the meat was just sliding of the bones from my lamb shank, My Chopan kebab was still sizzling from the grill and it felt like i was back home eating with my family as well as this the staff's hospitality was top-notch and unparalleled with by any other restaurants I've personally visited. Will definitely be returning with my family and i am looking forward to my next visit. Dishes i would recommend: -Kabuli Pilauo (traditional afghan rice with lamb shank and fried raisons and carrots ontop) -Chopan Kebab(fresh lamb cubes slowly cooked over the grill)
